Technology for educational institutes

Powering institutes
with new ways to learn.

Cortex Desk powers educational institutes with state-of-the-art technology: courses, tests, mentoring and payments on one platform, under the institute’s own name.

We bring innovative learning solutions into everyday teaching, so an institute can reach more students and teach each of them better.

See our work

A good institute already knows how to teach. What it rarely has is technology built for the way it teaches.

We work in that gap: giving each institute a platform of its own, with the best of today’s learning technology inside it.

Minds of Aspirants, powered by Cortex Desk.

Minds of Aspirants is a coaching institute for the UPSC Civil Services Examination. Its whole platform, from courses and test series to mentoring, current affairs and payments, is built by Cortex Desk.

Courses · Recorded lectures

Every course, lecture and handout in one place.

Guided lessons · CSAT

Lessons that teach one idea at a time.

Short guided lessons where every step has a picture that moves and something to do or answer. Minds of Aspirants teaches CSAT, the aptitude paper, this way.

03

Current affairs · Twice a day

The day’s news, turned into study material.

An automatic desk reads the news every morning and evening and writes it up for the exam: what happened, why it matters, and which paper it belongs to.

04

Chat · An AI coach

An AI coach that shows where its answer comes from.

Students ask in plain words. The coach answers from the text of the Constitution of India and lists every article and schedule the answer rests on.

01

Test series

Timed papers in a proper exam interface, with negative marking, a ranking and a review of every question afterwards.

02

Answer writing

Students send handwritten answers as photos or a PDF and their mentor marks them. Typed drills are marked point by point against a rubric the faculty wrote.

03

Mentoring

A student books half an hour with a mentor from the site. Mentors get a desk of their own for calls, requests and answer copies.

04

Payments

Checkout by card, UPI, net banking or wallet, with coupons, receipts and refunds kept in order for the office.

05

A console for staff

The office manages courses, enrolments, class lists and orders, and sees how each lecture is being watched.

06

Daily habits

A word from the syllabus to guess each day, a leaderboard and a study streak give students a reason to come back.

Technology should serve the teaching.

01

Built around the institute

Every institute teaches in its own way. The platform carries its name, its courses and its methods, not ours.

02

Utility before novelty

We use the newest technology where it makes teaching or learning better, and leave it out where it does not.

03

Teachers at the centre

Our tools take routine work off the desk. The teaching, the mentoring and the judgement stay with people.

You teach.
We build
the rest.

If you run an institute and want a platform of your own, we would like to hear from you.
